Put simply, a muzzled dog is a dog wearing a cover over its mouth. A muzzle can help prevent biting, but it also stops scavenging, supports training, and lowers risk during stressful handling or veterinary care. The stigma matters because it feeds public fear, puts owners off using muzzles, and can make things less safe for everyone…..
